Andrew is a San Francisco native of Scandinavian descent. He began sailing his own boats on windy San Francisco Bay in 2000. In 2008 and 2009, he skippered Geja through 3300 miles of Mediterranean waters, including the coasts of Italy, France, Montenegro, Slovenia, and Croatia. He has also sailed the waters of Mexico, Scandinavia, the U.S. East Coast, and the U.S. Pacific Northwest. He holds a United States Coast Guard Mariners License.
